You will be writing a cover letter about my writing process within 3 different papers and how I have improved with the final revisions; and how I have met the SLO’s (Student Learning Outcome) criteria. Within this paper you will bullshit an introduction about how this year has come to pass so quickly, yet so slowly at the same time; how I struggled with writing but got through it with hard work from the help of my peers during peer review, and through meeting with my professor during her office hours.

For the body paragraphs, you must include ALL of these and how I’ve met the criteria through the three essays:
SLO #1) Read Analytically: read analytically and critically, complex texts from varied cultural and academic frameworks, integrating multiple perspectives. 
SLO #2) How I’ve joined scholarly conversations in class (discussing our readings about student debt, veterans’ issues): use writing to inquire into authentic social issues and enter into scholarly conversations, articulating responsible, informed positions.
SLO #3) Support a stance: use evidence from a variety of sources to support purpose (the tattoo paper), distinguishing adequate from inadequate support, use and cite information properly and ethically (MLA format)
SLO #4) Demonstrate Awareness of Audience and Purpose: Compose rhetorically-aware, complex prose in a vairety of genres matched to purpose, audience, and context (Rhetorical analysis of veterans’ issues)
SLO #5) Be strategic about your writing process: adopt task-specific strategies for generating ideas, drafting, editing, and proofreading, and revise mindfully, refining ways of giving and using feedback.
SLO #6) Be Reflective: Reflect on your own and others’ literacy processes, strategies, and habits in order to build more flexible reading and writing skills.
SLO #7) Conduct Academic Research: Employ advanced search strategies to examine, and advanced criteria to evaluate a wide variety of sources, including library sources (tattoo paper); distinguish scholarly from non-scholarly and primary from secondary/information.
SLO #8) Control Writing Conventions: control rhetorical and grammatical features, including style, usage and conventions, with attention to purpose, audience and genre.


I will upload the three papers that I wrote and some example cover letters for you to follow the format. Please follow the format. You can combine the SLOs into one paragraph if it works. You also do not need to write as much a the example cover letter did. The example I am providing had the same three assignments, with the exception that the last assignment we were abel to choose our own topic (the tattoo paper).

I will be available all day, if there are any clarifications/simple questions about the assignments, feel free to message me. I will check back every hour to see if you need anything. The minimum is 4 pages, feel free to write more if more space is needed.
