Whoever told you I do not want to renew is incorrect in giving you that information. Indeed, I called my landlord today to say I wish to renew but not with an increase in rent, explaining that my financial circumstances do not allow me to spend anymore than I have. She told me she would go away and speak to her husband and call me back, but then I subsequently receive your email of a rather confusing nature. I am unsure if it was the landlord you spoke to, or the letting agency.
The fact of the matter, James, is, I have no where else to go nor has there been any preparation made for a move. This will, as you can appreciate will take time and consideration. The sensible thing for me to have done was to renew, which I have expressed as my wish to do and said I want to renew but with the rent remaining the same. I believe this is being considered as of right now. I don’t know why you found it necessary to interfere in a matter that I can perfectly manage on my own, and as I have done with previous renewals.
I respectfully ask you to leave this to me to deal with. I will shortly send Amanda my income and expenditure under separate cover.
